Dome and the canopy of the Courthouse in Paris- Le dôme et la marquise du Palais de Justice de Paris

The monumental wrought iron, very ornate with gilt and topped with a canopy that is shown under the dome, which opens onto the courtyard of May, was executed in 1776 by the master locksmith Bigonnet. In the background we see the majestic dome of the Palace of Justice in Paris.

La grille monumentale en fer forgé, très ouvragée avec des dorures et sa marquise montrée sous le dôme, qui ouvre sur la cour du Mai, a été exécutée en 1776 par le maître serrurier Bigonnet. En arrière plan on voit le majestueux dôme du palais de Justice de Paris.
