Host city of the 2013 International Mosaiculture, Montreal is represented by four works out of competition with thereof, entitled « The tree of birds. » The work measures 16 meters high and weighs 120 tons. Its surface is decorated with 350,000 plants were produced by the Montreal Botanical Garden and a dozen horticultural enterprises. The tree of birds representing 57 birds and six amphibians threatened with extinction. The tree itself is a mangrove.

L’œuvre mesure 16 mètres de hauteur et elle pèse 120 tonnes.
