An architectural detail of the structure built under governmental programs set up in 1930 to fight against the economic crisis, the City of Montreal realizes the construction of a new building near the top of the Parc du Mont-Royal. The chalet, style Beaux-Arts, was built in 1932 by the architect Aristide Beaugrand-Champagne. It is designed for traditional, ceremonial, popular and educationnal uses.
Un détail d’architecture de cette structure construite dans le cadre de programmes gouvernementaux mis sur pied en 1930 afin de lutter contre la crise économique, la Ville de Montréal réalise le projet de construction d’un nouveau bâtiment près du sommet du Parc du Mont-Royal. Le chalet de style Beaux-Arts est construit en 1932 par l’architecte Aristide Beaugrand-Champagne. Il est conçu pour des usages cérémoniels, traditionnels, populaires et éducatifs.
