Olley View Cottage

Built around 1900, it was owned by the United Church of Canada. In the former town of Shawbridge, now has become Prévost, the building reflecting the architectural style of classic English tradition is found almost everywhere in Quebec.

Construite autour de l’année 1900, elle était la propriété de l’Église Unies du Canada. Dans l’ancienne ville de Shawbridge, aujourd’hui devenue Prévost, ce bâtiment de style architectural de tradition classique anglaise se retrouve un peu partout au Québec.

Once again a bit of architecture, the Panthéon in Paris has a portal that consisted in huge doors. As you can see on this picture, it is approximately 8 m. high. The building itself is magnificent with a dome, a pediment and columns that represent the neo-classicism style.

Encore aujourd’hui, un peu d’architecture avec le Panthéon de Paris dont le portail possède des portes d’une hauteur incroyable. Comme on peut le voir sur ce cliché, elles sont d’approximativement 8 m.. Le bâtiment est magnifique avec son dôme, son fronton et ses colonnes représentant le plus pure style néoclassique.
