The Fontaine de la Rotonde was erected at the Cours Mirabeau entrance back in 1860 and ever since then has been the town’s most distinguishing monument. It was just recently spruced up following years of neglect that left it dilapidated. Now, once again, it stands resplendent with its ferocious bronze lions and elegant statues (Justice,Commerce and Fine Arts) . Its water comes directly from the underground source of Aix. At evening , the fountain comes into its own – beautifully lit, it’s a sign of peace and romance.

The Royal Albert Hall is a concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington, in the City of Westminster, London, England, best known for holding the annual summer Proms concerts since 1941. The Albert Memorial is also situated in Kensington Garden, directly North to Albert Hall. It was commissioned by Queen Victoria in memory of her beloved husband, Prince Albert who died of typhoid in 1861.
