L’envolée du carouge à épaulette-The takeoff of the Red-winged blackbird

Morpho blanc-White Morpho (Morpho polyphemus)

Ce papillon photographié lors de l’exposition « Papillons en liberté » du Jardin botanique de Montréal en 2014, est en réalité un gros plan de deux photos juxtaposées dans Photoshop, la première très précise sur la bête et la seconde sur les ailes. Voila une photo qui est nette sur la presque totalité de l’image.

Barbe de bouc – Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon (Salsifis des prés ou Tragopogon pratensis)

Un très gros plan d’une plante qui ressemble à un pissenlit (Dandelion) géant. Elle mesure de 30-70 cm de hauteur et possède des fleurs  jaunes en juin-juillet, sa racine est comestible et grillée, elle est utilisée comme ersatz de café.

A very close-up of a plant that looks like a  giant dandelion. It measures 30-70 cm (12-24 inches) in height with yellow flowers in June-July, its root is edible and toasted, it is used as a coffee substitute.

Le canard branchu, le plus beau canard du Québec possède une tête colorée et un oeil vif. Ce gros plan a été réalisé dans un parc de la ville de Laval qui est magnifique pour des activités de plein air. Il a une superficie de 30 hectares et est baigné par des étangs et un ruisseau.

Wood duck, the most beautiful duck of Quebec has a colored head and a keen eye. This close-up was carried out in a park of the city of Laval which is wonderful for outdoor activities. It has an area of 30 hectares and is bordered by ponds and a stream.

Cette photo qui est dite minimaliste a été réalisée avec un reflex 35mm argentique de Pentax, Pentax P30t. Elle représente le miroitement du soleil couchant sur un mur de béton adjacent.
