The Canadian Parliament houses our two chambers: House of Commons and the Senate. Located in downtown Ottawa, at Parliament hill in the national capital. Formally, the body consists of the Canadian Monarch represented by a viceroy, the gouvernor general—the Senate and the House of Commons, each element having its own officers and organization.
Le parlement Canadien composé de deux chambres: la Chambre des Communes et le Sénat. Situé dans le centre-ville d’Ottawa, sur la colline parlementaire de notre capital nationale. Formellement, il se compose de la monarchie canadienne représentée par un vice-roi, le gouverneur-général, le Sénat et la Chambre des Communes, chacun possédant son rôle, ses officiers et son organisation.
